Overview
Location: Cala Del Mar Resort & Spa is located in Ixtapa, Mexico on the Pacific Coast in the Mexican state of Guerrero. It’s 5 km (3 mi) northwest of the Zihuatanejo, and 245 km (150 mi) northwest of Acapulco.
How To Get There: From LA, Ixtapa is a 3hr 40mins direct flight. The closest international airport is Aeropuerto Internacional de Zihuatanejo (ZIH). A ride to and from the airport to the resort should take between 30-35 minutes.
Accommodations: The resort offers over 55 suites with private pools overlooking the Pacific Ocean and feature a master bedroom, a living area, and a private terrace. Tucked in a corner of the terrace is the infinity-edge plunge pool that is completely hidden out of view from the resort’s other suites.

Each Cliffside Ocean Front Suite offers spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean and features a king bedroom, living room, and an open-air thatched terrace with a private shaded plunge pool. Ranges in size from 580 to 750 square feet.
ROMANCE DELUXE OCEAN FRONT SUITE
This suite offers an additional measure of comfort and luxury with a more spacious floor plan and a larger terrace with a day bed and a private infinity plunge pool. Ranges in size from 730 to 895 square feet.
FAMILY ADJOINING SUITE
Ideal for families, these two bedroom suites are equipped with all the amenities that characterize the elegant suites at Cala de Mar Resort. Ranges in size from 1,350 to 1,550 square feet.
CALA DE MAR PENTHOUSE MASTER SUITE
Enjoy panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, an open-air terrace with lounge chairs and hammock, an open living and dining room area, a private infinity plunge pool and a complimentary refreshment center. Ranges in size from 980 to 1,250 square feet.
